About a couple of months ago we moved to Council Bluffs, IA, a few minutes away from Omaha, NE in a little old house. We are slowly trying to make the place into a home, adding a bit of our personal touch here and there and making it cozy specially now that we are in the colder months. We added twinkling lights in almost every room and the evenings are lovely. The highlight of our living room is our beautiful new sofa from ARTICLE; to me it’s the perfect combination of mid century modern, comfortable and stylish. Also, the sofa is on sale until the 25th, you can take a look over here!
We also had a few days of snow and there is still a bit left on the ground. The kids are eagerly waiting for more though. :)
My sisters will be visiting us in the next few days and I am so very excited. We haven’t been together all three of us in over three years. I am looking forward to spend some time with them, a few of our friends and my in laws for Christmas.
As far as my art is concerned, I have been taking a little break from my personal projects. Although there are a lot of things that I would like to do/create, my body and mind felt like taking some time off to recharge, as 2016 has been a pretty difficult one for me. But as I reflect on everything, there are so many things to be grateful for and I will never take my blessings for granted.
I hope you are having a beautiful week getting ready for the Holidays! Xx
