We have bee traveling for the past two weeks and it felt so good taking some time away from the big city and work. The fist week we joined Jeremy in one of his work trips, in a place close to the Brasov city. Some of our friends with their kids were there too, so while Jeremy was working the kids and I explored around and hanged out.
In the event that you will ever travel around Brasov area, here are some of our favorite spots:
~ The Black Church, located next to the Council Square in Brasov. They have really beautiful organ concerts, so you should check out their schedule if you’re visiting.
~ “Rope Street“, the narrowest street in Europe, located in downtown Brasov (really close to the Black Church too).
~ Tampa Hill, you can take a short cable car ride up there and the view it’s really beautiful. There is a Hollywood style sign with the words BRASOV.
~ The “Luca” street side bakery. I am in love with their salty pretzels.
~ Dino Park, Rasnov. This is just on your way up to the Citadel. Sammy had a blast here as he loves dinosaurs. :)
The second week was our official “family vacation” and we spent it at the Black Sea. Needless to say, the kids had a blast: Emma is in love with the water, she was constantly running to it and Sammy was specially found of the sand castles, and as usual, he got the perfect tan (we call him our beach boy).
