Last week we took a train ride six hours north to visit my parents, whom we haven’t seen since Christmas. Since we were not able to stay long enough to celebrate Emma’s birthday there, we decided to do a little special celebration together and spent a day at the house where my grandparents (on my mother’s side) used to live (they have been living in the US for the past few decades). Needless to say, both kids had a blast! We even climbed the hills above the house and explored a little part of the forest where I used to wonder as a little girl. We had a birthday cake for our ONE YEAR OLD girl and had a beautiful, much needed time with my parents.
I tried to select just a few pictures to share over here, but it was pretty hard, there are so many good ones. If you have been following this blog for the past years, you might remember this place from this post. Emma was present there too, we just didn’t know it yet. ;)
