A few snippets of life between breakfast and lunch, at my little “office” or “studio” or our cozy living room. Here are corners where I usually work on projects (most of the time), we play, learn, watch movies, eat, listen to music and have friends over. We have good days and bad days, we laugh and cry, and as a new mother of two I am still trying to figure out a daily routine. It doesn’t work all the time and I don’t think I have found a system yet. As long as the kiddos are happy, I can happily work too, now and then, little by little and adjusting to each new stage. I can’t say it’s easy, but it’s definitely beautiful and I am totally grateful.
In the pictures: Morning light. Sketches, planning and a work in progress project called “Flora Alphabet”. My little baby girl, ready for a nap. My left handed boy, practicing the letter N. And he did a terrific job. Snuggles with mama while little sister naps. Never too many colored pencils. More sketching and planning. Sneak peeks of the first three letters, I am illustrating them randomly. Counting animals. Choo-choo. Awake and wondering what her brother is doing (always). Ready for lunch.
